Our commitment

MONA Nail Studio is committed to a website that's usable by everyone, including visitors who use a keyboard, a screen reader, or other assistive technology. We've built this site to conform, in all material respects, to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Measures we've taken

• Semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, footer, nav) and a "Skip to content" link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images; decorative images and icons are hidden from assistive technology.
• Visible keyboard focus styling on every interactive element, consistent across light and dark sections of the site.
• Text and background color combinations checked against WCAG's 4.5:1 (normal text) and 3:1 (large text) contrast minimums.
• Animation that respects prefers-reduced-motion, including the moon-phase signature device on our homepage.
• A responsive layout that reflows cleanly from desktop to mobile without loss of content or function.

Known limitations

Our online booking, gift-card, and membership pages are provided by our booking partner, Mangomint, and open in their own overlay or a new tab — their accessibility is outside our direct control, though we link to them with a clear, descriptive label wherever they appear.
